WBA Memorial Trophy In Support of Clydeside Action on Asbestos

On June 4th 2016 William Bremner-Allison died of Mesothelioma, an asbestos-related cancer. When he was diagnosed as terminally ill in January 2016, he sought and received a lot of assistance from Clydeside Action on Asbestos, a charity passionate about helping people who suffer from asbestos-related conditions.

Clydeside Action on Asbestos campaigns for reforms in the law, promoting positive changes for those living with asbestos-related conditions. They also offer a comprehensive welfare rights service advising on benefit compensation, and advise on the legal rights of the person as the majority of these cases are due to past industrial exposure.

Golf was a passion of William’s, so it seemed to make sense to arrange a golf day supporting the charity.
